About Carlton Tel Aviv Hotel, Tel Aviv

5-star luxury hotel with rooftop pool in a great shoreline location

Tel Aviv Marina views

Carlton Tel Aviv is set on the Mediterranean shore, overlooking the marina and 1950s Gordon Pool, at the far north end of the city's golden sweep of beach. The 1920s Bauhaus buildings that give Tel Aviv its nickname "The White City" are a 20-minute walk away.

Popular port district

A 20-minute shoreline stroll to the north, Tel Aviv's newly regenerated port district lies between the Mediterranean and the Yarkon River. It's a popular area, with a superb covered market and independent shops and eateries, family-friendly by day and party central after dark.

Seashore to rooftop

You can choose from different dining options, including a much-praised breakfast at the waterfront Carlton on the Beach, bistro fare at beach-view Lumina, and gourmet fish and vegetarian at the rooftop Blue Sky. Other highlights include a rooftop pool, day spa, and 24-hour fitness center.

Balconies with views

Each of the rooms and suites opens to a private balcony affording memorable vistas of the Mediterranean Sea or the Tel Aviv skyline. WiFi is free, flat-screen TVs come with satellite channels, and bathrooms are stocked with fluffy towels and custom-blended toiletries.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful area
The hotel is situated on the beach boardwalk and easy to access the beautiful Mediterranean. The room was well appointed, and I'm so thankful for the fresh fruit in my room as I was completely off my time zone and hungry at off hours. The hotel was very clean and one morning, I found someone cleaning the baseboards in the hallway. The bathroom was ample and could have easily accommodated 2 people. I'm not usually a fan of eating at hotels on international trips, but because of my work schedule, I popped down to the Lumina restaurant on the 2nd floor. I'm so glad I didn't miss it. The sea bass was delicious and the views of the sea were a nice touch. Highly recommend! I had a few events in the city center to attend which were a 15 minute cab ride away. Cabs are plentiful from this area. My only regret is that I didn't spend any time on the rooftop deck which looked beautiful and serene. Instead I strolled along the boardwalk.

Not the best stay
I dont really write reviews but I was not impressed with this hotel. The room was very nice but the air conditioning was sometimes not cold enough and other times too cold. The hallway smelled and so did one of the elevators when I checked in. There was lots of outside noise at night. Overall it was an ok hotel but not sure I would stay here again.
