Yes it's tiny place, but it was a fun stay. Close to everything I wanted to visit, walking around this hotel was enjoyable. Staff were friendly and kind.

Adequate but disappointed
I booked at this hotel because I had been to Amsterdam before and vondel park is one of my favorite places. That was the one thing that didn’t disappoint. I reserved a quadruple room with a garden view, what I got was a quadruple room next to the office right on the street where everyone who wanted to smoke but couldn’t in the smoke free hotel came to smoke under our window. We had to keep the window open as there was no ventilation in this room. The breakfast was excellent with a good variety and attentive servers. The front desk staff were very helpful. Also on the website there were pictures of a garden and there wasn’t one.

Great location with kids (museums and Vondelpark)
This was a good stay for our family of 4 - 3 adults and a child - since the room had 4 single beds, a nice find near the museums and Vondelpark. The place is not fancy, but is clean, and didn't have a restaurant/breakfast. It was a little uncomfortable to have only one small elevator for the whole hotel, and our room required an additional set of 4-5 stairs (a hassle when traveling with some heavy luggage and [sleeping] kids in strollers). In addition to proximity to Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum, I recommend the hotel for proximity and ease to Vondelpark - great for runners who want to hit the trail immediately without running through city streets, and especially for those with young kids since a few playgrounds are excellent for getting the wiggles out. The staff were competent - not particularly friendly, but got us what we needed. The rate and the location would make us consider this hotel again.
