For the seasoned traveler, you can't beat it!
Cute little Inn, perfect for the seasoned traveler. By seasoned traveler, I mean someone like me, who doesn't spend much time in the room, but really appreciates coming back to a familiar feeling place at the end of the day. Not bare bones, but not five star, a comfortable in-between. The best part about this place was the location. Just a few blocks from Frenchmen St. (entertainment, good restaurants), a fresh food market, Walgreens, cable car, etc. Free continental breakfast (though a very limited selection) was a nice little touch. Great wifi. Neighborhood is very residential too, so pretty safe-feeling and quiet. Thick walls and second floor room, so my stay was very quiet, as well. Didn't hear a thing. Also, the air conditioning was as cold as snowballs! That makes a difference in humid and blisteringly hot New Orleans weather. I'd come back easily. If you want room service, a bellhop, and views, go elsewhere. You want a charming, quiet, easy going place, at a great price? Come here.

Great location but lacking in cleanliness
The check-in staff was very nice but when we went to our room we were very disappointed. It wasn’t clean and the bathroom was very dirty. I honestly don’t know when the last time the floor was mopped. The morning after our first night of stay I even went to the front and suggested that they might want to clean the bathroom. No such luck. The bathroom remained dirty our entire stay. I also asked for 1 extra towel and That evening when I got to my room there was a towel on the bed but no towels in the room. We had to ask for more towels and the next day when we got back to our room there were NO towels!! The location was perfect but honestly the cleanliness was horrible and I felt dirty the whole time I was there. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you are worried about germs. The location was perfect but the worry about the cleanliness made me worry.

Nice old hotel
Great place to stay! We had 12 in our group not far from the main attractions! Hotel was super roomy and comfy! Group of 12 and everyone was happy! Thank you!

Fine if your not too picky
Place was exactly how it was listed. For the price it’s fine. People were friendly, room was clean. If you want more luxury than pay for more luxury. I wanted to experience where the locals lived. This is about a 10-15 min walk to Bourbon St. Gave me the opportunity to explore other bars/restaurants of New Orleans while keeping on a budget.
