Days Inn, Concord, California......NEVER AGAIN!!
The man that checked us in was rude and very unprofessional. The shower curtain was broken so water went everywhere, we had to put towels all over the floor to soak up the water. The breakfast in the lobby was horrible, with cold eggs, cold tough sausage, stale bread and croissants, coffee was just barely warm and very muddy. We went to leave, and the same rude man asked where my hotel key card was, when I said we left it on the dresser with a tip, he responded by rolling his eyes. He never said thank you, have a nice day, NOTHING! Never again.

Sheets were not changed, asked for someone to come change them and I was brought a sheet and even dirtier blanket to "throw on top of the other" I was exhausted and didn't have the energy to argue so I had to sleep with a single sheet to avoid putting the dirty bedding on myself. The room smelled, the bathroom smelled worse. There were stains all over the towels and the sheets. The parking lot is very small and poorly laid out. The only positive was the staff was pleasant.

There was no hot tub at this location as advertised! The room was dirty and still had the toiletries from the last guest including used soap. After complaining the staff removed the wrappers from the tub and said "It's fine." Homeless guy going door to door, garbage in the hallways that was never cleaned up. No battery in the smoke detectors and most of the electrical outlets did not work. I don't usually complain but for what I paid this is unaaceptable. Do NOT recommend!
