Allurity Hotel stay.
Allurity Hotel is excellent. The staff are friendly, polite and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It is centrally located so it's in walking distance to cafes, restaurants, bars and shops. I highy recommend Allurity.

Good price, easy to find. Was five blocks from wharves, however it was an easy walk. You can walk a few blocks to bus stops for airport bus or local buses. Just a block from Elizabeth street mall and Collins street. Woolworths a short walk away. Farm gate market at door on Sundays . There's a great bakery around corner. Towels were large and fluffy, seemed newish which was good. Not much noise from outside or guests. Had aircon. Bed was ok, seemed newer, Rooms need a makeover and furniture old. Toilet bowl needed bleach, not a good look. Carpet stains needed a good clean in hall and in room. I put my own recycling into the large bins outside as I noticed all the rooms being cleaned just had all rubbish go into the black bags, a shame for sustainability . Maybe there can be recycle bins near the lifts on each floor .

I sadly can't give this hotel any good review I arrived in Hobart they couldn't find my booking even though I had a confirmation two weeks prior they said they were fully booked a manager said she would ring Expedia though she did I heard nothing else from her a tad rude,I rang Expedia all they could do as everywhere was fully booked until the ñext day they arranged a hotel a much better one than I would have been in I went around to hotels asking if they had a room for one night praise God I eventually found one as every internet search was fully booked by there site except a couple of very expensive $400plus and a funny little hotel who mucked up my booking was coming up as available on Expedia Wotif

Accommodation was satisfactory. We particularly appreciated the double-glazed window which was surprisingly effective in managing the neighbourhood noise. We could also open the window which was good. Comfortable and clean.

Hotel and rooms need refurbishment urgently. For example, shower rose was held up by drying cord, basin didn't drain correctly, lights in weird places, noisy at night.
