Convenient to train station
Chose this hotel because of the proximity to the train station. The room was plenty big for the three of us, but it had not been thoroughly cleaned in some time. This could be much nicer with a bit of paint and cleaning. The front desk staff were helpful, and the breakfast was good. The restaurant and bar were out of service. It was a 3-minute walk to the train station, and that was great!

A gem
Just outside principe train. Walkable to sites. The villas are all stairs. Up and up and down and down. It does become a little whatever to feel more in Africa than italy. No shotage of shoppung

Late arrival
We had a late arrival due to a train strike. The person at the counter was very helpful directed us to a wonderful local restaurant. He also arranged a taxi for the next day to get us to Italy.

Great stay, good location
We had a wonderful stay in Genoa at Britannia, the room was wonderful and comfortable. The receptionist helps us a lot with our car and they have a deal with a nearby parking lot where you pay 20 Euro per day and they park your car for you. The location was good, with walking distance to everything. A few small streets around town was a bit dodgy though, so we didn't really feel comfortable wandering around the small allyways, but that had nothing to do with the hotel.
