Perfect for Pairs
I thought this was a great hotel for my husband and me. It is in a perfect location. We were literally in the hotel to shower and sleep. I would not recommend this hotel for families with small children because of the shared hallway bathroom.

antique
Bed was comfy, place seemed to be clean altho very old as it was built around 1905 after the Earhquake. It feels like it is a boarding house in original condition which was very interesting. I was not at all crazy about sharing bathrooms down the hall in the middle of the night although they were clean and one was always available.

Can't Beat the Charming San Remo Hotel
Clean and a well stocked boarding house feel. Great Italian restaurant downstairs. Can't beat the price especially it being near Fisherman's Wharf and other sites in walking distance! Would definitely go back there in a heartbeat!

Classic hotel, classic neighborhood
Love this hotel and everyone that works there. The shared bathrooms and toilets are super clean. The neighborhood is my favorite in SF. This is my go to hotel when in San Francisco.
