A great location but I wouldn't recommend it
If you are interested in high end retail shopping this is a wonderful location. This is a very expensive hotel and I don't think it was worth it. We paid for a superior room ( 932) but if there is any room in the hotel beneath superior I can't imagine what it would be like. Our bathroom was nicely appointed though small and without a bathtub. The bed was comfortable. The main console had a drawer that had to be gerryrigged to keep it from sliding forward. The heating system's periodic clanging was enough to disrupt our sleep. The view was of the inside of Barney's next door. There was no coffee maker and room service adds both an 18 dollar delivery charge and a 10 dollar per person fee. For example we ordered one soup, one salad and one main course and it cost 122.00. To say that wi fi is free is wrong because there is a 30+ dollar daily additional "resort fee" which covers the wifi and small bottles of water. It is nice to have some human interaction with the elevator attendant and the service overall was good. The restaurant was overpriced and the waiter did his job but was not friendly.
