Great hotel overall. had a slight problem with the soaking tubs pipes needing to be cleared out, it hasnt been used in a while so yellow water and sand came out for a minute, cleared up after running water for a few mins. I would stay there again.

Excellent atmosphere, with comfort and a view!
The inn had very nice views towards pudding creek, with ample balcony space. Although very foggy the next morning, still peaceful with the water right there. The room was very clean and the stay was relaxing. Eateries are of walking distance, which is good except for the fact that the bridge crossing the creek requires a mobile phone flashlight at night, with no street lighting at all and cars traveling at a fast pace. That was the only concern I had. The front desk person, Rebecca, was very welcoming and informative of where the continental breakfast was held [offsite], as well as directing me to how to find my unit inside the complex.

Great place. Drawback is they advertise breakfast. Upon arrival you find out it's continental and you have to travel to another hotel to to partake. Upon arrival for breakfast you see two small tables in the lobby that seats 8 and a disappointing selection to begin with.

The Fort Bragg area is beautiful without being gentrified or "Disney." We planned our visit to enjoy cool, wet weather, and we were not disappointed. MacKerricher State Park was an unexpected treat, free for day use, great boardwalk by the ocean (a walking path that is somewhat elevated and level making it accessible to everyone--no amusement rides, etc.).

Anniversary weekend
We originally were given a roadside room. When we asked if rooms overlooking Pudding Creek they were able to accommodate us. Made the first night of our 40th anniversary o much more enjoyable. Will definitely stay here in the future.
