Epic Memories from The Caves
LOVED the Caves hotel , its super exclusive with only 11 rooms, and popular so book accordingly.. we stayed here 2 of our 7 nights on our honeymoon in Negril, we stayed on the beach a few days and one other west end clif hotel, we prefer the smaller clif side hotels with a more bohemian feel vs the compound style all inclusive. Caves being the best of the 3 hotels we stayed at. The Caves is safe and secure, staff at The Caves was the best on our trip, rooms were clean, unique and very cute with some nice aveda style amenities, food and drinks are included - breakfast, lunch and dinner... no need to leave in fact we didn't want to leave knowing nothing could top this location. The food is really rich like most jamaica food so bring Tums....Pina colada was super good, the clifs side lounging areas to to sun soak and jump into the water are awesome, great snorkling right can swim into the caves. We stayed in a upstairs unit called Birds nest , one of their larger suites and very much recommend. Also if its a special occasion , tell them and they will do their best to make sure your time is memorable.

7th consecutive year visiting
The CAVES is a great place. It was our 7th consecutive year. The water is amazing-no beachfront but places to jump from and caves/snorkling right outside your room. Just jump! 30' pristine water. Food is great. People are really great. This time the place was a bit busier than prior years, but generally it is a quiet, romantic place. Dinner in the cave is really special. Great place.

Be clear about room selection!
First the negative... There is a disconnect between and The Caves hotel in terms of what type of rooms are being reserved. I thought I booked ocean front, but apparently I only got a partial ocean view. I called the Caves to make sure we straightened this out so I paid an extra $200 to upgrade to ocean front. When I arrived I discovered I was only upgraded to ocean view. That said, the ocean view room was wonderful! The AC went out one night but they fixed it that same night! Everyone from the manager to the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is on an incredible coastline. No beach, but plenty of lounge chairs and secluded lounge areas. Great fun to jump off the cliffs into the ocean. Start at ten feet and work your way up to 30 ft (terrifying for me...). Paul, the activities guy is very friendly and knowledgable. He was great with my novice snorkeling wife and made exploring the caves/ocean fascinating. It's all-inclusive with never a hassle for tips or additional costs. They even comp'ed us a private meal in the romantic cave! A short walk away is Rick's Cafe if you like a bit of crazy, but we mostly loved the quiet seclusion of this amazing resort!

Best all inclusive boutique hotel I've ever been to. The service and food are excellent, and the cliff diving is awesome. Due to it's size, it felt like a home away from home.
