Great Small Hotel
Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. This is one of the quietest hotels we have ever stayed at, considering that it is on a main road. Having onsite parking is a huge plus. Buses that run to Fisherman's Wharf can be picked up 1 block away and there is a bus that stops right across the side street. Not sure where it went but there is lots of public transportation very close. We would definately stay here again.

Comfortable room, great restaurants nearby, free parking and WiFi, and friendly staff. Only downsides were very noisy street made it hard to sleep and no microwave/fridge. Otherwise, loved it.

Only had one problem. Asked the front desk if there was supposed to be a chair in the room as there was a writing table in the room. The young man there at the time had difficulty with English and didn't give me a yes or no answer. He asked for my room number and said he would come up and see what the issue was. He never came up while we were there for the three nights we were there. It was strange as another older gentleman on staff and a house maid did respond to to an inquiry about an electrical outlet.

Lying scam artists
Arrived at Chelsea Motor Inn only to be told my reservation did not exist. Turns out they canceled it after I tried to modify the reservation to one night instead of two through Hotels.com customer service. Not only are they lying about having been contacted by Hotels.com (I was on hold with Hotels.com twice while Hotels.com dealt with them), they are refusing to refund me either night, claiming that because I did not show up for the first night, they had a right to cancel both and keep my money for both. Going to dispute the charge then sue if that doesn't work. Shady, lying business. Can't even use the lobby at night, and have to stand out in the cold using a drive through type window. Ghetto!
