My only complaint is that there were no towels at the pool area. We had to call down to the front desk twice, and no one ever came up with towels. So we had to actually go down to the lobby and request someone come up. There were 6 people in the pool and no towels for anyone. And it was cold!

Great Location but Cost Cutting Shows
Great location but understaffed across the board. Only one person at front desk so if they are busy no one answers. During checkout valet is so swamped also don’t answer phone and staff is overwhelmed. EV charging is not complimentary to guests which is not mentioned on listing. Seems the owners of this Marriott are cutting corners and for $360-$600 a night, they run it like a budget hotel. Nice gym.

Nice Boardwalk location
This is the nicest newer hotel close to the Boardwalk. Most other hotels by the boardwalk are old. The only thing I didn’t like was the lack of a complimentary breakfast. The have some basic breakfast items but rather expensive. Also $25 to park.

New hotel that needs service work
Brand new hotel so the rooms are big, new and clean. They only offer valet parking and it was a disaster. Any time we tried to get our car there was a long line and when we checked out, the line was at least 15 people with one attendant. He ended up just giving us our keys and told us to go get our own car. Obviously this hotel did not make enough parking for the number of rooms available. Plus parking is $25 a night, which was too much for poor valet service.

Loved everything about this hotel! It’s beautiful, great location, super nice staff. Room is amazing with a gorgeous view to the boardwalk, clean, just loved it here. I think our favorite hotel in Santa Cruz now. Definitely recommended.

Beautiful, new hotel!
What a memorable hotel and stay in Santa Cruz! Hotel highlights for my husband and I: - $25 per night valet (as of April 2023)! You can’t self-park at a lot of hotels nowadays for that cheap. - The breakfast in the lobby bistro was actually really good! A little pricey but we got it to go one morning, and it was a great quick option. They served Starbucks coffee as well & we apricated the friendly staff. - Our room easily makes it to my top 5 ever! Super high ceilings, beautiful bathroom, a microwave/fridge/and coffee maker, great tv situation, felt very spacious and new. The décor felt high end as well. Loved it!! - Great location close to everything we wanted to do. I would definitely recommend!

Very Comfortable
My wife and I stayed at this hotel for a weekend get together. This place is awesome. The hotel is clean, the staff were friendly, and the bar area was great. Our room was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed after a day of walking around the pier, boardwalk, and downtown. The only minor complaint is the lack of parking and the valet is a little too expensive. Other than that, I recommend this hotel.
