Very Good8.0
Amazing staff, 2 beaches, plenty of activities
The staff is amazing! Cannot say enough about them!!! From Brad on the beach to Janice in the restaurant(s), they were so happy and wanted make sure you were happy! Multiple level managers always said hello and asked how the trip was going. The main beach is really nice with all the activities you need like scuba, snorkeling, kayaking, sailing, paddle-board, etc. The second beach, a very short walk or free boat taxi, is smaller and more remote, but still has burgers and drink service available. The second beach also serves as the entrance to the Jungle MTB and hiking/walking trails. If it is your first time attempting scuba, the instructors are top notch! Food was very good and definitely up-scale. It might be nice to see a few more beef options, such as a filet, etc (I don't want to tell the executive chef's what to do). The nightly, local bands were very good. The bartenders and liquor selection was very good, although the same drink request varied in final composition at each bar. As for the room, it can be a hike if you are up the hillside and you are not in OK shape. There is always a quick shuttle option. Our room had a crazy, amazing view of the Pitons and the ocean! The room was starting to show wear and tear and will need to be updated soon for the price you pay. Overall, we will go back again, if only for the truly, amazing staff. Jade Mountain rooms offer a more upscale look and privacy. Jade also shares all the same restaurants, beach, etc.

Very restful, very beautiful
Loved the resort, although the hill climb between the beach and the reception and then reception to the accommodation was daunting we found that a little bit of day planning made it easier and less frequent. On the whole the food and the staff were excellent - our room was gorgeous with views both of the beach but also of the Pitons (room 7E). We were on the meal plan and I would recommend that to anyone, there iis nowhere else to get to easily so you are going to end up eating in the resort and unless you have the will power of super human you are going to eat the food and drink the cocktails. I cant see how you could do this for less of the cost of the meal plan. Some of our party were on the all inclusive plan, if you intend to really enjoy yourself then this is definitely worth doing (Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon tea and dinner, all with Cocktails - definitely going to save money all inclusive). For those of us not going for 4, 3 course meals a day was a bit cheaper on the Dinner/Bed/Breakfast plan. But it was close. Great snorkeling at the beach, however the private part of the beach stops at the waters edge so there are often a lot of divers from elsewhere diving he two reefs - could get a little busy. WiFi in the room worked but was a little intermittent - but that was not necessarily a bad thing. THere was Wifi at the beach for those using tablets.

A unique place, for always a favourite memory
Authentic and certainly not average, luxurious but far away from everything that is standard. Perfect, very helpful service. And just so blissfully quiet and beautiful.

fantastic stay, go for all inclusive
We were very happy with our stay in this beautiful hotel. In advanced we were not sure, if we should take all inclusive or not. But in the end we were happy that we booked all inclusive. The food in the restaurants is really good (there is nothing else around anyway), but food and drinks are quite expensive without all inclusive. And with AI you can drink and eat almost everything. We also did a couple of dives. The local dive operator is really good.
