Leeford Place Hotel August 2016
My room was a very good size with the largest bed I have ever seen or slept in! Very traditional with antique-style walnut furniture but with a very modern en-suite bathroom with a tiled floor. The power shower was amazing. Only let down in the bathroom was no shaver socket. Very clean throughout the room and en-suite. The biggest problem I had in the room was the lack of lighting. I could not see adequately to shave and in the evening with no sunlight it was very dark. Television reception in the evening was awful, only working 50% of the time. Other guests have mentioned this. Free Wi-Fi is available but the signal strength is poor - I could only get it to work near the reception area, never in my room. The hotel describes itself as a country house hotel and this is very accurate. The setting is off-the-beaten-track with beautiful views, ideal for a wedding. My room overlooked an area of green with a small stream with a pretty little bridge. The price I paid included breakfast that I could not fault. I always had the cooked Full-English but Continental is also available. Guests can help themselves to various cereals and orange juice. Service was excellent - very attentive and friendly without being obsequious. On-site parking in abundance. Overall I was very happy with my stay at the Leeford Place Hotel and was almost sorry to leave. Would I stay here again? Despite some minor issues - absolutely yes!

Nice Country Hotel
Went to the hotel for a couple of days as we had a wine tour booked in the area. It is a nice hotel it just could do with a bit of a TLC. The staff were nice and helpful, but it just seemed like they are very busy.

Review
It was fine - Lovely hotel, quiet and pretty location, lovely to sit outside in the evening and relax. I guess the only downside is that there was a wedding going on and the restaurant etc gave them priority - would have been good to know that in advance. Staff were very friendly and room was nice.
