A lovely Vermont experience!
Loved The Nutmeg Inn. It was a lovely Vermont experience! The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Our hosts were very friendly. I appreciated the effort to accommodate the skiers by providing the option of "to-go" breakfast. I will definitely stay here again.

Not worth the stay...
I've stayed at several B&Bs and this experience was just "Ugh". The room was TINY- so much so that in order to walk to the bed I (at 5'2") needed to hunch over to not hit my head on the ceiling in this converted attic space room. The night we arrived, we were greeted by a grouchy and very unwelcoming hotelier. We felt so uncomfortable with her greeting, that we didn't feel like asking for anything else that night from her. Her husband the next day was perfectly pleasant but it didn't make up for the rude welcoming the night before. The room appeared clean but if you looked in corners and such there were dead insects, hair and dust. The best thing about this place was the breakfast but I would not return here just for that. The B&B we stayed at the next evening made have had a slightly less fancy breakfast, but was cheaper, cleaner, more spacious, and definitely much more welcoming to tired guests....
