The City Motel, Fredericton
Great affordable place
We had one night in Fredericton and we’re happt that we chose the City Motel. It was one of the only affordable options at short notice in August, it’s a little outside the city center but that didn’t bother us. There’s a few food & shopping options around, but it’s on a busy intersection so definitely not a walkable area. But lots of parking available right at the hotel. There was a power outage due to a storm when we first tried to check in; luckily that was resolved quickly and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious, very comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet was good, too.

Ok if you are only there to spend the night.
The place is a little run down. The person who checked us in was in training, really nice, but it took longer than it should have. The rooms are clean for a budget property, but not super clean. The breakfast is also on the budget side. Stairs in the back seemed a little unsafe.

pleasant stay
The room was a bit on the small side but adequate for our needs. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was typical ... adequate but filling. Fresh fruit, bagels, toast, juice, coffee, cereal and milk. The refrigerator did not work right.

Friendly staff, clean room, great value
The staff was genuinely friendly. The room and bathroom were outdated, but very clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was adequate. Overall, this place is a great value.

It was nice but noisy in the morning
I was hoping to give a good review to this nice motel but they were working outside making some structures from the early morning and the vacuuming other suites. I wish they were working after 10 AM or something like that, my particular stay started from 2 AM so I desperately needed some sleep to go on the road again. For their not so much thoughtfulness with noises, I rate them lower but otherwise room was clean and the breakfast was not extravaganza but adequate.
