OK for the money. But needs a lot of improvements.
The Hotel is old but clean. They could invest a little to improve their furniture and it could look a lot way better. It is not in a bad location at all, in fact is right next door from a Holiday Inn. It just needs a lot of upgrades, there was not hot water, the room doors didn't have the extra lock and didn't have any bath products, just soap. The personnel was very friendly and helpful.

very clean, convenient but older so quite cheap.
We stayed because it was the most reasonably priced over the New Years Holiday. Even tho it is a older resort, which we expected, it was very well maintained, very clean, the staff helpful and pleasant, overall we really enjoyed our stay there. We did not get the all exclusive package but our room did include free breakfast so that was a value we were not expecting. They serve only buffet, but for breakfast they would make eggs to order. For omelets & such they did not have a lot of choices but what they did have was very good. For dinner every night was themed. The resort had a desk for time shares-not for them but another resort-but they were not pushy. They had a desk for excursions & I am sorry I can't remember the man's name but he was outstanding and his ability to speak English was superb. We booked two tours, thru him because they would pick us up at the resort, Chichen-Itza & Isla Mujeres. Chichen-Itza was a VERY long day, it is some distance, we were gone about 12 1/2 hours. That included lunch & what we were told would be unlimited beverages but since they had to keep the beverages in coolers in the cargo hold, they really were not that unlimited. That tour stopped for lunch at a local park of some kind, again, the food was buffet. They also stopped at a Cenote & a church built in the 1600s. Isla Mujeres had a all inclusive option which we did take and that was truly unlimited beverages. That was a ferry to the island, drinks and snacks.

Good stay
Stay was great. We ended up with a room with ocean view. We as a couple enjoyed the stay altogether. Rooms were fine. Only thing about internet is they do not have provision for in-room internet service. You only get wifi in Hotel lobby area, other than that everything was pleasant and staff were courteous.
