About Sedona Rouge Hotel And Spa, Sedona

Relaxing retreat plus spa near mountain, shops, and wineries

Grand Canyon proximity

The calming Sedona Rouge Hotel and Spa puts you 5 minutes west of central Sedona, and 1 hour south of the I-40 and I-17 junction at Flagstaff. The Grand Canyon Railway is a 2-minute drive from the hotel, offering a scenic 2-hour ride.

Hiking and wine tasting

Hikes at Sugarloaf Mountain and tastings at the Page Springs Cellars winery are a 15-minute drive. Another 11-minute drive and birdwatchers can spot the finches, orioles, and sparrows of Red Rock State Park, while Oak Creek Canyon lures fishing aficionados.

Views, yoga, and massages

"Zen" is the word with Ayurvedic services in the spa, rooftop terrace views of Red Rock, and a heated pool, hot tub, and outdoor fireplace. Yoga classes and a fitness center help guests wind down, while seafood, steak, and fine wines spice things up in the restaurant.

Serene and practical

Bathed in southwestern hues, guestrooms are all about comfort with Simmons® pillowtop beds and lambswool throws. All have free WiFi, flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, and coffeemakers, while larger suites offer extras like fireplaces and sofa beds.

New mattress needed in our room.
Nice place but the king sized mattress needed to be changed, it had a valley on each side that you fell into. Very uncomfortable. The rest of the place was lovely.

Our Sedona Stay
Room was clean and recently renovated, however reaervation called for a queen bed and we were given a full size murphy bed. Also walls are very thin so you hear everything. Great location amd staff is very friendly.

Excellent Hotel; Dine Up the Road
This gorgeous hotel and its staff are absolutely amazing and attentive. The room was very large, exceptionally clean and comfortable, and very well situated on the main strip in Sedona. And, with the exception of the dining facility, the hotel amenities are top-notch! While I give this hotel 5 stars, I want to note that I give their restaurant only 2 stars, which is generous. For a hotel of this caliber, I expect an equal dining experience. I ordered meatloaf and mashed potatoes with brussel sprouts; it was horrible: I'm pretty sure the potatoes were instant and the meatloaf was a frozen entree. Breakfast was worse. I ordered oatmeal, which was had the consistency of lumped pudding. The cost of the meals was high, which I don't mind for high-quality food. Here, the hotel makes you pay a mandatory $25 "resort fee" which is only recouped by dining in their facility. Trust me, the discount isn't worth eating there. There are so many excellent eateries within a quarter mile that we were left shocked this hotel doesn't even meet the quality of the independent eatery attached to the Whole Foods up the road.
