Cleanest hotel I ever stayed in

Very clean. Really impressed by how clean it was. Kind of an older hotel. Wouldn't recommend for kids but adults would enjoy. The lobby has a weird smell (old building) but the rooms had no off-putting smell and again were super clean.

I really liked the hotel and the room. It appears they are short-staffed, as a lot of places are. The staff they have is very friendly and accomidating.

Ohhhh....let me start with the positives. The bartender who checked us in at 3:40 in the afternoon (there is no desk staff after 3:30) was very friendly and helpful. The waitress was very nice, the gal running the front desk for breakfast/checkout services was also wonderful and friendly. The bed was very comfortable but more on that later. The hotel/restaurant is extremely run down and in need of repairs (I was wondering while we were enjoying a drink out on the second floor patio if it would go out beneath us -one example). I was leary of the elevator breaking down. The carpet in the room was the same carpet from 20 plus years ago. I don’t think the bed has ever been moved to vacuum behind/under it-which made me think? Could there be bed bugs? The shower curtain fabric was water stained. No bar of soap for washing your hands-I could go on and on but I think you get the pic:( It is sooo sad ton think we paid 150.00 per night for this, but live and learn.

    STAY AWAY!!!!!

We arrived at 2:30p to check in early to find the front desk only works till 3pm and left early. You have to be checked in by bartender who doesn’t start till 3:30p. During a heat wave, the air conditioner didn’t work. With no front desk, we called the emergency number on card in room. He hasn’t worked for hotel for some time. The WiFi information was out dated in hotel book. Talked to bartender, his friend got it to work temporarily. However it failed during night and 20 degrees hotter in room then in hallway. One of the bulbs made noise so unscrewed it. We stayed during 4th of July weekend but due to staffing shortages the restaurant and bar was closed next couple days. A Irish themed hotel runs out of Irish tea. The breakfast quiche was only available the first morning since they ran out and even thou cook lives on-site would not make more.

As a previous longtime resident of Green Bay, I was blown away by this hotel, as I was not aware of the city having anything romantic or scenic to offer! My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary, and this reminded me of being in Europe on the Rhine river, it was so cool. We stayed in a corner suite with windows overlooking the river locks, the bridge and the edge of Voyager Park, and it was captivating. The rooms were large, and beautifully appointed, and felt like a furnished apartment. If it had a fridge and a microwave I would have been tempted to stay a month!
