Apollo Hotel, St. Helier
Terribly dated room, aluminium window that wouldn’t seal so cold wind blowing in, no heating in bathroom so that was freezing, central heating very low. Bedding thinner than tissue paper - had to sleep fully clothed under cover to get warm, informed receptionist who said “ah yes it’s because the windows are metal and don’t seal!!!!” No sorry or anything ,doesn’t matter when they have your money already. DO NOT STAY HERE IN WINTER. Oh and the guy in charge of seating in breakfast room is like a little hitler. So beware! Elsewhere for me next time in st helier!!

Apollo Hotel, St. Helier
This hotel gives a very good impression that they don't want guests with young children. Our room was extremely dated and shabby, the carpet was threadbare in places. The bathroom was in need of renewal if you flushed the toilet or used the taps the person in shower got scalded also I hate shower curtains as they are very unhygienic. The electrics in room were also dodgy-lights flickered often,1 light wouldn't work and there were scorch marks on the light shade completely lost the lights and power to sockets, kettle, hairdryer etc on one occasion. Our room window had no safety catches or lock so the first floor window could be completely opened by our 3 year old-I think as this is a 'family room' they should be addressing this issue.
