Very Good 8.0
It is what it is....
I was reasonably happy with the room and my experience at the property. It is definitely rough around the edges or a little worse for wear if you will. As is the case with Portland in general, homeless presence all around. Location is otherwise good. Close to the Max and easy scooter or bike to downtown, Saturday market, Pearl District etc, and obviously the Moda. Paid $80 a night and it was a 5 minute walk to my daughter so all in all pretty satisfied.

Exceptional 10.0
Ariana Grande Concert
I booked the room for my 17 year old daughter and her 18 year old friend so that they could attend the Ariana Grande concert. They told me they had no problems at check in and the lady on the desk was friendly, joking with them that most of the hotel was occupied by concertgoers and that probably quite a few concerned parents had done the same thing. The girls said the room was large and very comfortable and that walking back late at night was fun, lots of people their age all chatting and feeling safe together. The free parking helped ensure their car was safe and the free breakfast helped them before heading back to Olympia the next day.

Poor 2.0
Horrible condition
We ended up sleeping in my car the night we were meant to be staying here because the room was infested with bed bugs. Do NOT stay here.

Exceptional 10.0
The Hotel staff were friendly, it did take awhile to check in as there was only one person at the desk. It is located within walking distance to the Moda Center, with plenty of choices for dinner. Breakfast was lacking in choices and was sparse, kind of disappointing. We would stay here again if the opportunity arose.

Poor 2.0
Garbage.
Worst experience of my whole life. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE!! this is the utmost worst place to stay un less you enjoy loud innapropriate noices throughout the whole night. On more than one occasion. Homeless people wondering in and knocking on doors asking for money. Horribly rude staff. And 90% of the staff can't even understand English. Please. For the love of God. Do not stay here
