Clean but rooms need some maintenance
The room was clean but had many items that were in need of fixing. To name a few - bathroom light switch missing piece, dripping water in bathtub, overhead light fixture in bathroom needed a bulb replacement, sink faucet needed repair. Carpet a little old. Saw a sign about renovation of hotel, how about investing a little in maintenance of rooms.

Tv had no signal to networks. Desk agent came to room and fixed. Quiet comfortable room. Bathtub bottom dirty. Needs scrubbing or replacing. Overall a good hotel with nice breakfast.

Not so Friendly
We were so ready to lay down when we originally arrived, we checked in and on we went. My husband and I just went straight to nap before meeting with family we woke up to a hot room and completely soaked carpet by the AC Unit. They gave me another room immediately no apology just that I had to go 2 floors up. No biggie! The floor smelled like smoke, tiles missing from ceiling but overall we just wanted a place to sleep not a place to hangout for 3 nights. The staff is not friendly, I honestly think they hate their job. I love Hampton so I’m sure I’ll be back if ever in Albany just wish it was more pleasant.
