Luxury hotel with spacious rooms, easy location
Stayed in a panoramic king room that had an enormous bed (much larger than US kings) and a nice balcony we ate ramen on more than once. Room was spacious, and while we didn't have views of Tokyo Tower, was nice to look out on the city and hang out on the balcony. Bathroom was quite larger and had a jacuzzi bath we used twice. Not in the trendiest part of town, but very close to a couple very useful subway lines, and the nearby neighborhoods are cool and much more local, which is great if you're into eating typical local cuisine and seeing what daily life is like. Also an easy 20 minute walk to Ginza for the glitzier things, probably 30 minutes to the Fish Market which seems to be a perennial favorite, and of course you're on Shiba Park and Tokyo Tower. Price is a little steep, but more reasonable than the high end luxury properties that can cost twice as much per night, and while there aren't over the top luxuries like pillow selection or people following you around and running to open doors, we certainly enjoyed it, and the one day that it drizzled, they gave us free umbrellas to use and otherwise we didn't really want for anything.
