Great Hotel, but don't go to the Starbucks!
Stayed in Sheboygan for a family event. The hotel's view is stunning! It's right on the lake with a beautiful walking path. The front of the hotel boasts a path that runs along another waterway lined with quaint shops and restaurants. Would be fun to rent bikes next time! Great stay, but there is a Starbucks on the property and it is terrible!! I ordered my usual Mocha but this was so laden with chocolate sauce it was nearly black. I tried to pour it out and add milk to no avail. Couldn't drink it. Don't bother with this Starbucks unless your getting straight coffee. There is another Starbuck within a few miles that is much better!

Great time all around!
We vacationed Monday through Friday. The hotel was lovely, staff was friendly, spa was perfect!, themed room was great, and the lakefront was beautiful! The lake was warm enough to swim every day and we hit the waterpark and outdoor pool at night. So much to do with the arcade and shop. We loved going into town for dinner and the children's museum and miniature golfing. Perfect vacation! Thank you!

Hotel.com fail Nice hotel though.
I booked here on the site and had a problem with the rate. I was quoted $180.00. My credit card was billed $266.00 from Blue Harbor. I called Hotels.com and was given the run around. I was told it was the resort and I was charged for an extra person. When I got to the resort, they said it was hotels.com. Needless to say, Claire at the resort gave us nearly the correct rate at $189.00. This is the second time we have had trouble with hotels.com. The hotel is very scenic. We had an aquarium room and it had a separate area for my 10 year old with a tv. It also had a microwave and fridge. We will be sure to ask for a lake view next time. We had a view of the parking lot. Water park is similar to Key Lime Cove. Small. But we still had fun and there is free s'mores and a bon fire every night. Free catamaran rides if you know how to use it. Beautiful sunrise. We didn't eat there because it was too expensive. Sprecher restaurant is right across the street as well as little shops around the resort. We would stay again.

Nice place BUT
Management, or lack thereof was horrible. Every aspect of management from the Spa (massages not booked even though we had confirmed), the restaurant (stacks of dirty dishes on the tables with the best view, long wait in line even though there were plenty of empty tables and it was buffet only). Reservations getting mixed up left and right. I don't know how the place manages to keep afloat. It was very well maintained, very clean and the water park was nice, especially if you have young ones, but I cannot comprehend the level of disorganization within the hotel. All in all a good weekend for us, but these guys need to get their act together.
