Very Good 8.0
Beautiful space, many things were well-thought out. However, the staff seemed somewhat disengaged and not as attentive as I have found in other properties. We stayed in a junior suite - the elevator took about 30-40 seconds to progress to each floor. It opened into our suite. In the suite, we found that there were a lot of confusing details. Many switches (or the appearance of switches) on the walls that were non-functional. We worked with concierge via messaging through Expedia and had long delays in some cases for our requests. There was some staff that was wonderful, yet others were cold. The bell-staff did not assist with luggage to the car on our departure. They gave us a bottle of champagne by surprise on our first day. We did not drink it that day, and housekeeping took it away. We also found that housekeeping replaced some towels with different towels. The inconsistency was confusing. There was no way to allow a do-not-disturb with the setup of the room - however the staff did not exit the elevator without first announcing and waiting - so it was not a big issue. The breakfast in the restaurant was good, but not great. Disappointing given that the restaurant breakfast is served in is a Michelin-starred location. Overall, this is a great hotel with an amazing view and a great location if you don't mind the tourists. But, there are a lot of little details that will add up and annoy you if you have a lot of experience with fine hotels. I would not stay here again.

Excellent hotel, helpful staff, A+ location
PROS -Location, location, location -Hotel is stylish and clean -Complimentary drink upon arrival -Complimentary champagne, petite desserts, sparkling water, and welcome note in room -Acqua di Parma brand shampoo, conditioner, body wash, & lotion -Nice views of city -Extremely helpful and proactive staff---can’t stress this enough (help w/directions without guest having to ask, promptly call taxis & print vouchers/documents for guests) -Plush bed and covers, extra blanket at foot of bed if needed -Aroma (hotel’s restaurant) has amazing view of Colosseum & surrounding landmarks, restaurant onsite -Small elevator -Nice bath CONS (no real ‘bad ones’) -Thin walls, hear doors close late night and people talk (brief spurts of noise) -Air conditioning managed in lobby, not in room, so temperature might not be to your liking. They told us to call the front desk if we need any adjustments. -My wife asked restaurant to make her vegetarian meals. They accommodated but also brought her a complimentary dish that was made of fish. She was surprised when she tasted it. It wasn’t a big deal, but attention to dietary preferences is always appreciated. -Wifi was weaker than I expected. I could not upload three photos to Facebook, so I used my cell phone's data/roaming. I would stay here again, and I recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a great experience. As you can see, the cons were minor inconveniences—not anything terribly bad.

Amazing hotel with wonderful staff
We stayed in one of the apartments about a 5 min walk from the main hotel. Beautiful views of the coliseum at breakfast which is a great start to the morning. Although we had a slight delay with our flight on the way out and arrived later than expected the staff was so helpful with this and carried or bags for us after our long day. The room was amazing with plenty of space and was lovely and clean. Breakfast was also lovely, you can ask them to cook you hot food, but there was also continental options too. It’s a very central hotel close to all the main attractions you would want to see (between 5-25 min walk) There is also a local supermarket about a 5/10 minute walk away too which is handy. If you overpack like I do our room had plenty of storage space too for our clothes and other bits. The staff were so friendly and helpful the whole time. This was the first time I had stayed at a 5 star hotel and I was 100% impressed. The beds were a little too firm for my liking but that’s just down to personal presence and it didn’t effect my sleep. My favourite part of this hotel is the amazing view of the coliseum in the morning time at breakfast. I would stay here again. Thank you to all the staff for making my first visit to Rome a very enjoyable one! Keep it up :)

Stunning views of Colosseum from ding room & some rooms. Christine at the front desk was fabulous & went over the top to help us during our stay. She even got us tickets to the Papal Mass on Wednesday & helped with communications with parking at our other hotels. She s a star!! All of the staff were wonderful! The breakfast food and view were amazing! I highly recommend you start each day having breakfast here. Take your time, enjoy the food and the view. We also stayed at their apartments a few blocks away. We had a 2 bdrm 2 bath, 2 kitchen apartment. It was perfect for our larger family group. Livio was also excellent at taking care of our bags, room, & he would not leave our side until the appropriate taxi came that fit our large group. The metro is also a short walk. Fabulous stay! You could tell management took care to hire quality staff throughout their hotel! 👍😊

The room was not at the hotel it was down the street the pic when booking makes you think you are at a great hotel but in reality you are down the street in the apartment building. So it was over priced I believe. I do not recommend this hotel. Also when checking in I to them my flight leaves at 9:45 so he told me they recommend us to leave the hotel at 7:15. Told him I needed a car for 5 and luggage. He assured me it was all taken care of and leave bags in the room and come for breakfast. Came down at 7:15 and the luggage was there but no car. the car was supposed to be there at 7:15 it was not and they called us at taxi taxi at 7:45. Taxi was not big enough but we had no choice but to Squeeze in 4 into back seat very uncomfortable
