Perfect location in the middle of the city. Lovely old charm. Nice people. Easy check in although they didn’t notify us when our room was ready. They were able to make our room allergen free which was lovely. The bed was comfortable. Pillows not as much but we can’t have feather. I would stay again. Missing coffee in our room.

Lovely in every way
The Langham was just perfect in every way. The service outstanding from check in to the concierge Peter (thank you Peter for the amazing restaurant recommendations- and the entertaining conversation!). Rooms were clean and comfortable. Beds great; bathrooms lovely. And the location was outstanding right on the Yarra River. Beautiful! I’d recommend it highly.

Have stayed at several other langham hotels. They were beautifully. Superior decor and design. Fresh and up to date. Wonderfully attentive staff. The langham Melbourne was none of this. Outdated tired and somewhat neglected. Indifferent staff that didn’t extend themselves unless directed to. Buffet breakfast was average. Overall this fell far below expectation for this brand and price paid. Would not stay here again.
