Charmless
Room was supposed to be an upgrade, but that was an inaccurate description. Room was in an area of the hotel outside the gated garden section of the hotel. It was an obvious later addition which was not adobe and situated on an alley that connected directly to the street. The smoky smell in the room from the fireplace was unacceptable and would make you sick. The only other room available (because four rooms were being re-roofed) was dumpy. Breakfast was mediocre. Not a very satisfying experience.

Great service, pretty good location. Hotel itself is quite awful! Don't fall for the "historic" descriptor: it seems that hotel owners just use that term to justify not doing any maintenance. There isn't anything "historic" about ripped up dirty carpeting from the 80's, malfunctioning plumbing fixtures from the same era, cracked toilet seats, furniture/sheets/towels/blankets that are of worst quality and way past its prime. Breakfast: after the first day we decided to skip it and eat elsewhere in town. Just to reiterate: service is great and very friendly.

Comfy casa near old town
Nice location near ABQ Old Town. Easy walking distance to a good variety of restaurants, museums and shopping. A lovely grouping of "casita-type" rooms offering privacy and comfort around a pretty landscaped courtyard. A nice offering of full breakfast items is included daily. Bed comfortable. Staff extremely friendly and helpful

A bit of haven...............
This inn was a bit (a BIG bit) of heaven nestled so close to Old Town in Albuquerque. Everyone was so friendly and gracious. The grounds were beautiful. The individual rooms were so unique......filled with bits of history and the past. Everything was FANTASTIC. Unfortunately, we were not able to eat in the dining area, however, my daughter did and she said it was "5 star" I would definitely return.
