Torn on recommendation
I'm torn on this review. Staff were fantastic but building was odd and had some issues. I reserved the junior suite which appeared from the pictures to have a living space and kitchen. Those spaces were actually shared spaces that would be shared with another room. It was also up and down a few staircases. (No elevators if you have mobility issues keep that in mind.) I had asked for a closer room because a party member would have difficulty climbing the stairs. They were very accommodating and moved us to another suite which had direct interior access and just a half flight of stairs. Even gave us 2 rooms because these rooms only had one bed. Again this had shared living space and kitchen but there wasn't anyone in the other space. One of our rooms had an exterior patio and the door could not close. That room also had a lot of flies/gnats. We bought groceries to use the oven but the oven didn't work. The kitchen was ill equiped with the only cooking utensil being a BBQ fork. I'm sure that if I would have asked, they would have found a way to help. Also there was some interesting choices for artwork such as the large portrait of Kim Jong Un and a confederate war scene that some may find questionable. The breakfast was great as was the service. Would recommend for the traveler who would be bothered by the mentioned issues.
