A 3 day trip
We stayed at this hotel about a week ago for a three day stay during our two week vacation in Mexico. We originally picked this hotel for its affordability and the pictures of the pool. We wanted a place near the beach but with a decent looking pool for our kids (ages 6 and 1.5). The neighborhood of the hotel is nice but right next to Club Punta is an abandoned hotel and makes it look slightly trashy from out front. When we arrived the check in process was easy. We ended up purchasing the all inclusive package because of convenience which was relatively inexpensive. One of the downsides was that they stating since our room was so far back near the ocean that we would not have wi-fi. This was fine since we wanted to be close to the beach but was unfortunate since we needed wi-fi to keep in touch with other family. When we arrived in the room we were pleased with the european style with two separate bedrooms in a suite. One room came with a king bed and the other with two twins. The TVs were old but we weren't there to watch TV so it ended up being okay. Our room was a great location right in front of the pool but also beside the beach! It was easy access to both. The pool got really busy during the day but thats to be expected at a popular hotel. Overall, my family and I enjoyed the stay.

Not really a kitchen.
I would not recommend that you rely on the kitchen for anything! No refrigerator, microwave, or dishes! Only 2 pans and a stovetop, no oven. How is this considered a kitchen? Only a sink, stovetop, and empty cupboards? Outdoor area is beautiful. Beach is nice. Rooms need updating.

Worse stay ever! Do not go there!
Worse hotel ever. Not what it was advertised. The all inclusive wasn't worthy, low quality food and too crowded. Staff was rude and unhelpful. With exception to the bellboy who bent backwards to helps on many issues we had, even when he had to go outbid his normal task.

Bring your own towels to clean up after yourself
We hardly spent time in our hotel room since we were out exploring puerto Vallarta with all the trips they helped us booked at the front desk. One thing I did not like is that if you throw up and use the towels to clean it up. They will charge you for them having to wash them. A $18 US dollar fee. Never in my life have I had a hotel charge me for washing towels. Also our air conditioning would leak water while running. One last thing don't forget to ask for the hair dryer and iron before arriving to your room since you have to request it.
