Amazing bed. Great access. Gross hot tub
Second, their bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in! It had me looking online for how to get a Serta Monitor 266. Sadly, they're only sold to hotels. Anyway, it's a stone's throw to downtown Anacortes or Deception Pass. The condition of the hot tub was why I rated this mediocre condition and cleanliness. Finish was severely worn and there was a layer of filth on the bottom I could feel with my feet. Also, they have discontinued their continental breakfast, so don't let any advertisement of offering one fool you. It's also pretty close to the reservation casino, if you're the gambling type. Would stay again, especially if the refinished and cleaned their hot tub.

"Don't check in", said the owner. He's right. DONT
My friend and I were in Anacortes for the day and had car trouble that forced us to stay overnight. We got the last room, it was only $79 and we both had stayed there before. There is a major construction going on at Route 20 which is about fifty yards from our room. There was extremely large noise at 11 P.M. and we asked if we could change rooms. The front desk agent informed us that we got the last room we asked to speak with the manager on duty. She said "Bob" the owner could be contacted in the morning. The loud construction continued until 3 A.M., so we decided a refund was in order. When we checked out the front desk called "Bob" at home and told him our story. After a short conversation he hung up he politely informed us he could not issue a refund. I asked him to call the owner back I got Bob on the phone and asked for a refund. He refused and said "you never should have check in, there is a sign about the construction." When I explained that was totally unreasonable, under any circumstances to be subjected to that kind of loud and obtrusive noise until the early morning hours. I politely asked again for a refund and he replied that he couldn't do it. As the owner I asked if he can't or won't and he said won't. When I asked him if it was worth potential loss of business over $79 he replied "are you threatening me with a bad review?" After I said no, I would never threaten but always follow through I ask him his last name for reference. He hung up.

    Below average, but good service.
Check-In was fast and super friendly, the man at the desk was warm and welcoming and efficient. I got up to the room, I was pleased with how quiet the hotel seemed to be, particularly the hallways. Got into my room and wasn’t overly impressed... pretty much you run of the mill Motel 6 type room, which I was grateful to have after such a long day. After settling in a bit, I found the room to be very stuffy, went to turn the A/C on for a few minutes to cool it off a bit, but the A/C didn’t work, so I put it in fan mode and that helped, but only a little. Went to take a shower and found hair on the floor in a couple spots and smudges on the counters, which made me wonder how clean the room really was. Showered and found the towels to be very rough, almost the consistency of a wool rug. Not pleasant! Climbed into bed to find the bed made unevenly, so remade the bed before settling back in. The sheets were very unpleasant feeling as well. If I had to rate the stay overall, I’d give it a 4-5/10. With the service and quiet being the only saving graces. I’d not stayed here before, but hadn’t heard anything about it either, so thought I’d give it a chance. Maybe I’ll try it again in a few years and see if they get things up to snuff, but in the meantime I’ll stay elsewhere.

It was apparent when I first walked in that the room hadn't been vacuumed, i did not complain die to the fact the bed was clean. That first impression left a bad taste though, and being someone who used to work in hospitality. I know the location you're in is a prime location, so hopefully your housekeepers learn their job depends on the satisfaction of their customers.

This hotel is in an awkward location although convenient to the highway. There is really nothing to do at this location so you will need to drive to do any shopping touring sightseeing etc....
