Hotel Monterey Ginza, Tokyo
Stayed Twice in past couple of weeks.
Great location, great staff. We stayed in this location twice in the past couple of weeks. The 2nd time there was an odd odor in the room. The staff had notified guests of a toilet water repair during our stay. Not sure if that was a contributing factor. Our earlier stay was great no odors. Note that the hotel provides air freshener spray which I used a few times. Other than that, great hotel just a short taxi ride from Tokyo Station. Can't beat the convenience!

Definitely just a 3 stars!
I booked & paid a room with 3 beds but it actually is a double room and they just squeezed a sofabed ( not comfortable & squeaks every time you move). The room is so, so small that we didn't know where to put our stuff. You can't walk without bumping each other. Breakfast room was very nice like a new England decor style like a room that's not part of the hotel. Overall, a hotel not fit for Ginza.

Good budget option in Ginza
Great location. Well kept older hotel. The rooms are tight, but from what I understand that is to be expected. A short walk to the main area of Ginza (a couple blocks). A FoodMart right across the street so you don't blow your travel budget on meals and snacks. Quick access to train stations. We would definitely stay here again as our base to explore Tokyo.
