The location was great. Not too far from the train station and main neighborhoods, restaurants and shopping stores. The room was really small. The cleanliness was not at it's best and they didn't clean the rooms everyday. The staff was super friendly and instantly upgraded our room when the one we had was not cleaned properly.

The hotel was in a very sketchy part of town. We walked to dinner and were very safe. The young man at the front desk was amazing and so helpful. He made the stay. Can’t beat 40 euros.

Overnight stay at Epidavros hotel
The hotel is located in a very run down area. - No parking on site. Walking the streets at night doesn't feel very safe as there are plenty of homeless people around the hotel and some can be aggressive when asking for money. - The metro is about a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. - The hotel room smelled of smoke and was very humid. - The air condition remote did not work and the solution was to get up on a chair to plug in the AC and unplug it when it got too cold. - There is a balcony, but there is only standing room, no chairs to sit on and the AC unit fan takes up all the space and emmits heat and noise, thus don't go on the balcony. - You are asked to leave you room keys at reception when leaving the property, but the don't ask for ID when you return and ask for the keys. - No safe in the room. - washroom size is small with a tiny shower. I challenge you not to get the shower curtain stuck on you when taking a shower. The floor will get soaked as well. - Hotel did the job of our over night stay, but don't plan to stay more than one night here. Dirty city and rude
