Very clean grounds and room. Only complaints: confusing layout of buildings, especially E and F. We had a less-than stellar view from our F room balcony (overlooking side kiddie pool and the building in front of us). There's also construction going on of an unfinished building. Mixed drinks are quite weak too. Buy a duty-free tequila bottle from the airport on your way in :)

Had a GREAT time at Emporio Cancun! We had a little bit of an issue upon checking in, but they fixed it and took care of us! Otherwise it was a flawless time, our poolside server Orlando provided world class service during our week there and we could not imagine staying somewhere else. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Food was also incredible. Cua's buffet was great for every meal. If you're going to Cancun for vacation you need to give this a shot!
