Definite room for improvement
I would have expected slightly better for the amount paid. Half of the staff was very friendly and helpful, the other half was surly. Decor needs updating, but that may already be a work in progress. Biggest complaints were that the bed was stone hard and the pillows just slightly denser than air. The shower curtain did not actually completely reach the tub, so every shower left water all over the floor. Twice our keys stopped working for no reason and the security in recoding the cards was questionable at best. Breakfast was unremarkable, but everything was kept well stocked.

Security and Upkeep Problems
The kid working was very nice, and the lady working breakfast was very nice. However, our bathroom door wouldn't shut tight, the mirror trim was broke, the towel rod broke, the pool was a madhouse and there were never any towels.... The worst part was Saturday night, when 2 intoxicated gentlemen were wandering the halls asking people to use their phone.... no one was at the front desk, and they definitely didn't look like guests of the hotel. I was very uncomfortable after that, and was happy to get myself and my 2 kids out of there the next morning.

Lots of short comings...
The room was tidy but the longe chair was dirty with crusty food and cob webs were in the corners. The business center was out of ink and when I asked to have copies possibly made from the front desk, the worker didn’t know how to use the machine. As I was waiting in line, two others in front of me were complaining of pot smoke smell and not getting bedding requested for over a hour the previous night, then a gentleman walking out mentioned that the sidewalks were quite slippery and could use salt for safety(no salt to be had). The man behind the desk just made lame excuses for all of our mishaps instead of trying to resolve them as if it isn’t his department to deal with all of us....Then maybe he needs a different position in the building. Breakfast smelled good but I had no appetite.

Unexpected two night stay
We choose to stay at this Comfort Inn because of a long drive for a medical appointment. This went from being overnight to two nights because of Winter Storm Chloe. I believe the breakfast food area was not completely restocked because of the storm, but otherwise adequate. Of the desk staff, one was very friendly, one friendly, and the one woman barely friendly. Had no trouble extending our stay, even though I needed to use a different card. Because of it's convenience, and lower price than the other Comfort Inn closer to our appointment, we would stay again.
