FUNky Hotel in Downtown Orlando
I incorrectly assumed that the Courtyard was a Marriott, similar to those at which I had stayed in the past. This assumption was wrong, but in a nice way. Once I found the hotel, I pulled into the gravel parking lot in front of an oldery building. There were a few buildings on the premises, each of which had some hotel rooms on the second and/or third floors. The bottom floors were lobbies or great rooms (in one of which, a very good free breakfast [baked egg casseroles and fresh fruit were standouts] was served). In the part of the complex where I stayed, the rooms were on the second floor, accessible by stairs only. My impression was that the complex had been built in the 1920s or 1930s and that the city (and its freeways) had built up around. With a little effort, I found enough outlets into which I could plug my various electronic devices. There was free WiFi and free TV (which I did not watch). There was a door in the rear of the room that led to a lovely small balcony overlooking the large courtyard. With a couple of caveats, I really liked this place and I would definitely stay there again. Here are the caveats: No elevators, no room service, a bit difficult to find, lots of traffic noise from the adjacent freeways. Here are the pluses: Unique older hotel, nice free breakfast, lovely plantings, older antique-y furnishings, convenience to downtown.

NEVER AGAIN....
Convenient located. But hotel is nothing close to pictures online.Rooms are depressing, windows blinds very bad condition. No privacy from outside. No body size mirror. No coffee cups, fridge was completely frozen difficult to open. Check out is 11 am, housekeeper was knocking at my door at 9:10 am like she was knocking at her own house door and opened the locked door while me and my husband were wearing nothing but towels and telling her to wait until we were done. Only thing good was the bed. VERY COMFORTABLE!!! But room was definitely not what is showing in the online site. AT ALL!! PRICE IS EXTREMELY HIGH FOR THIS HOTEL!!! My husband said maybe $75.00 just because is within walking distance from Downtown Orlando.

Cute for couples, not business
This is not a Marriott property, it is a bead and breakfast. Cute and quaint, but not for work. Breakfast was good.

Unique B&B with beautiful courtyard
We had a brief 1 night stay here. It was a unique bed and breakfast with lots of antiques and character, our room had a nice 4 season porch with a view of the lake. The courtyard and breakfast area were beautiful! I was pleasantly surprised with the breakfast as it included a strata, bagels (multiple flavors), muffins, fruit, etc. We were also able to walk downtown from this location. Plus we were greeted with a free glass of wine even though we were too late for their cocktail hour - so no complaints!
