3 Star Service in a 5 Star Hotel
Great location to explore the Old Town in Prague. Quiet and clean. However, the service leaves a lot to be desired: the breakfast staff were unfriendly and sometimes unhelpful. As an example, when asking for cold milk for tea, I was passed a jug and told "there is milk next to the cereal"! We also had the unfortunate experience of getting stuck in the lift the same night we arrived. Thankfully we managed to work/force our way out, with little help from the staff. We asked for the manager to speak to us about this, with no response, other than some fruit in our room....we assume that was way of apology. Another couple got stuck in the lift the next day! We walked up and down 4 flights of stairs for the rest of our stay. Our repeated requests to hear from the manager went unanswered. Unfortunately we did not expect this level of service from a 5 star hotel, and left disappointed.

Excellent location, all staff (especially the lady on the front desk) were extremely helpful. We were in Attic deluxe rooms which were huge and very comfortable. The lobby offers tea, coffee, pastries and a selection of alcoholic drinks that can be enjoyed after a tiring day sightseeing. Would definitely stay again if visiting Prague.
