    Fantastic stay
Our stay was so wonderful! Not only was the hotel beautiful but the staff was absolutely amazing. We were to stay at Melia Athens for 2 nights then leave for Mykonos for 2 nights and then back to Melia Athens for 2 more nights. However, due to weather conditions, we were not able to go to Mykonos because the ferry boat was not able to sail. As Melia Athens was completely booked, your staff was so helpful in helping us find accomodations at another hotel for 1 night and then get us back to the Melia for 1 additional night. We were also able to upgrade our rooms so we were able to stay in the room and not have to move again. Thank you, thank you, thank you to your wonderfully helpful staff. They helped make our stay in Athens the trip we hoped for. You should all be proud of your staff and your hotel. We will be happy to recommend Melia Athens to our friends. Again, thank you for making our trip wonderful!!!

    One full day in Athens
Walking distance to all the major sights. Not too much besides a few bakery/cafes super close to the hotel. We did not check out the roof or pool, but hear they are nice.

    A very enjoyable stay
We stayed at Melia for 2 nights, then came back when we returned to Athens for one more night -- and got a free upgrade to a suite, which was lovely. Staff members were helpful and attentive. There is a spectacular rooftop swimming pool & lounge/restaurant where you can swim during the day (till 6:30 p.m.) and have dinner or drinks looking out at the lit-up Acropolis at night (from 8 p.m.). The food was excellent too.

Amazing views from the perfect dip pool
Two years ago, we stayed at this hotel and had a great time. Amazing rooftop views and pool, amenities like gym (although one of the machines was broken this time), and just good service overall. The neighborhood around can seem a bit sketchy, but if you stay on the main roads, it's totally fine. Very close to Omonia station.
