Nice but not
Dark depressing decor, way too much black, especially on doors and carpet. Looks great in photos though. Many rooms have zero natural light, poor water pressure. But fixtures, materials and gymnasium thematics are excellent. Gym is claustrophobic, game room is dark, windowless and off putting, but beautiful.

Not so happy with how things turned out this time!
I have enjoyed staying at this hotel a few other times In the past couple years since it opened. I have booked direct with hotel and through Every other stay was great. This year, not so much. I know we caught a deal through, but the tiny room we got could not have been worth the normal price of $500/night. The couple we stayed with had a queen room also, but there actual room was another half size bigger than ours. Could barely walk through room without stumbling over each other or moving a chair. Very disappointed. It was a busy weekend and we just rolled with it. I will be more willing to fight for a better room if I return in future. The room I had might have better if I was there alone. Not happy. Our friends room had a musty smell to it, almost chemical. Over powering. They called and really did not get any help and were not offered to move. Again, for the price we did pay, it was still disappointing and this was their first time, they probably won’t return. I know CAA can do better, at least I hope, from my other experiences. I liked going to this hotel in past, it may be hard to risk bringing other friends to visit with us again in future. We had such high expectations. It’s in a great location and has a good vibe otherwise.

Great hotel and location, rooms quite dark
the hotel was very nice. The only thing that I did not like, especially staying on the 6th floor was that there was absolutely no light on that side of the building and to make it worse there was an overhang, blocking out any light.

Very nice hotel with perfect location
Very nice hotel with great interior design in the perfect location. Located close to all 3 buildings I needed to visit when I was in town and right across from Millennium Park. I ate at all 3 restaurants while staying here and they were all very good.

Cozy and historic
Perfectly located on Michigan Avenue. Rooms are a tad small but updated and very clean. I found the staff to be super friendly and really enjoyed my stay there.
