Great place to stay
Love the CAA. Good location for us. Have stayed there about 6 different times. Great, clean rooms, loved the bathtub in our room this time. We even had a view this time which was great! Always wonderful service.

Hip and trendy revitalized hotel in DT Chicago
Very happy we decided to stay here on our recent trip to Chicago. They did a really good job with renovating the athletic club. The rooms are super hip and really well done. The walls were a bit thin but fortunately you are in a city so the noise outside blocked out the noise from the neighbors. The lobby area is really cool and classic. The Cherry circle on the main floor is super nice for a cocktail or you can head up to Cindys on the rooftop. Super convenient location, right across the street from millennium Park and walking distance to the train and all downtown sites. Will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Chicago.

Cool joint, busy, good food, had some room issues
Pros: Dead center of where you probably want to be Lots of great food Free coffee bar Express to Cindy's Free champagne Well stocked mini bar Comfortable room Food open late Hip Cons: Sloooow elevators No guest services book Broken A/C No ice machine. Ordered from room service, never arrived. Too busy, game room was beyond loud. Alley room had some kind of chute crashing for several hours. Time an hour off on alarm clock.

Don't go!
To pay as much as I did for a room and it was small, dark, and had a view of the nasty wall across the way was very disappointing. I definitely wont be staying there again!

Piece of Chicago history
Stayed on July 29, 2018. Were in town for a concert at Wrigley Field. Loved the vibe of the Chicago Athletic Association! Great history, architecture, atmosphere, and accommodations. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean and comfortable. Wish we would have had time to go to the roof top bar but got back too late. Had breakfast in the Cherry Room which was just ok (4/5 rating). Would definitely stay there again!
