We checked out an hour after we arrived. Toilet wasn’t working properly nor was the AC. One employee was onsite and had no authority to call a plumber and had no idea how to remedy either issue. He asked if WE had tools with us and knew how to fix the toilet. We couldn’t take a cart to our car to unload our heavy luggage, nor were we offered any help. It was 90 degrees outside & we are seniors. We complained to Hotels.com and got a wonderfully helpful and immediate response, plus a refund of most of our unrefundable fee.

Not sure why it gets an "Exceptional" rating
This is agood hotel It has the feel of an upmarket Pension/family run place. But it doesn't stand out. It's a 3.5* place, because the lobby is very small, the room had too much furniture so felt cluttered, breakfast, while good, was 'Contenintal' style and left hanging in a bag outside the room at 7am and there is no bar Definitely not the stuff of 4* or higher. Overall 'feel'👍👍 Staff were friendly, efficient and very helpful.👍👍👍 Room👍👍 The pillows are soo good.

Delightful stay in Old Québec
Manager and staff were so welcoming and extremely helpful. Informative and saw to all our needs. Room and bathroom were lovely. The breakfast bag delivered each morning consisted of freshly baked items and other treats, each day was different. I would give this hotel 10 stars. Do not miss this gem.

We loved our stay. The front desk staff was especially helpful to assist in any way. Our room was extremely clean and nicely appointed. It was nice having a microwave, toaster oven, fridge and Keurig in the room. The breakfast that was delivered each morning by 7am to our door was both convenient and delicious. We were able to enjoy breakfast while getting ready for the day. Each day we each received orange juice, two baked goods, butter and local preserves. Some days we also received cheese or yogurt with granola. There was also a piece of fresh fruit. Coffee pods and creamers were provided for the Keurig. Not sure why people are not pleased. It is included in the cost of the room and you would easily spend $30 if you had to go out for breakfast. Parking right across the street in a secured lot for $15/day was also a plus. We did not make use of the gym, but it was available 24/7. We would definitely return!

This hotel was just perfect. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were great and the breakfast they deliver to your room each morning was such a treat. The hotel is in walking distance to everything. If we visit Quebec City again we will definitely stay here.
