Only one night but....
Only got to stay one night. Happy to see Finch's has been upgraded both in furnishings and for food and drink. Breakfast options were excellent. Staff is always so helpful. Such great access to so much of Boston.

Great hotel close to everything.
Great hotel. I've stayed in the junior suit #310. Family of 4 is small but for only 2 nights was ok. Great location, friendly staff. Very close to everything. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Mattress in the room 310 was not firm enough but not everybody likes firm mattress like me, so don't take that in account.

It was my husband's birthday, and when the very lovely and helpful Nairobi heard that, she offered to send up a little red velvet cake while we were out as a complementary happy birthday surprise for my husband. That never happened. Which was fine, it was completely unexpected, and the gesture was very nice, but it just seems as though the Finch needs to get its act together. The next morning, it took forever for us to get our breakfast order, it seems as though one poor girl was working all by herself. I ordered the Finch Four, my husband ordered the French toast. And there were about 3 tables so it was not crowded at all. From sitting down to leaving it was an hour for breakfast. Completely way too long. The Boxer itself was lovely and wonderful great room, helpful staff, - it's too bad The Finch brought it down a bit for us.

Pricey, but nice.
Attended our son's graduation at TDGardens. The was the best "nice" hotel near that location....but definitely pricey. Overall the staff was very friendly, and professional, but with no "stuffy" attitude. The rooms were small, as expected for a downtown hotel. Not a lot of restaurants in the area (except bars). But it was only about a 10-15 minute walk to the North End...so no complaints there!
