I realize we were staying in Banff but I felt my room was way over priced. We had just purchased a puppy so we were given a room that was dog friendly so maybe they have lower standards for cleaning those rooms because the carpet really needed to be vacuumed....the dog liked it there 🐶

Value for money
Hotel had wifi out of action and was having some reconstruction. We were not warned of this by hotels.com or the hotel before checkin. They did give us a voucher for the restaurant without being asked. Hotel could be really nice when reconstruction is finished.

Decent hotel for fair price for this area
All hotels in this high-demand year-round tourist area are high to very high-priced for the room quality, but this place is decent and convenient for walking to the small downtown and restaurants.Elevator for 2nd floor; parking underground and around back. Balconies are part of front, more expensive rooms. Room 122 had a lumpy bed with a very squeaky bed frame on the slightest movement, and no in-room safe. After 1 night we were able to move to a nearby room that was smaller but felt much more comfortable with a firm, quieter bed, a nice, newer, well-lit bathroom and an in-room safe. Small coffee pot and refrigerator in all rooms. No microwave in room. New bathroom, small but nice. Hot tub out of service but privileges at next motel for hot tub and pool were great. Cable TV stations were best of all hotels that we stayed in for the past 2 weeks - large selection, and both USA and Canadian!
