Convenient but Needs Work
The hotel was well located. The staff were also great. It has one fatal flaw that if the owners spent time on would probably take their hotel to the next level. The hotel is not designed for the modern traveler. The hotel rooms are outdated with blow dryers used for men. The bathroom could have storage and more counter space but doesn't and the lighting in the bathroom is poor. Some of it has to do with choosing Brown tiles on the wall. There is no ventilation in the bathroom so it gets over heated. Bedroom closet doors don't stay in place. Doors squeak. This place could go from good to great if they had a female designer/ touch and some modern art. You could also get more local traffic by offering a free one hour wine tasting during the week, bringing in locals and the hotel guests. Maybe a local band or trio or singer on Thursday at 6pm. Good luck. Many concierge staff keep a list of interesting things happening around the city during the holidays. Your concierge and check in staff should offer that list to everyone who checks in. Finally every room should have an iron and ironing board.

Best kept secret in Rome
On entering, the reception was welcoming and warm. I felt at ease straight away. I loved this hotel, it was cosy, comfortable, clean, well appointed and in a nice part of Rome. The staff were always welcoming and smiling. They served an amazing breakfast.

Nice but could be better with AC on.
This was a decent hotel. The rooms were super small. We would have rated this hotel a lot higher had they turned on the AC. My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and woke up sweating every night. Part of the reason we booked this hotel was because it had AC. We didn't find out that they don't turn it on unless it's around 80 degrees until after the fact. Breakfast was good as well as the hotel staff and service.
