There was syringes under the bed. The shower floor was coming apart. the microwave was flaking. The carper was nasty. There were used towels in the closet. There was clothing in the drawers from whom ever. The rooms looked and smelt as though they had not been cleaned in over a year. The owner was very nasty when this was brought to his attention. I felt as thought he knew ALL that was going on. He did not want to refund our money. Take this one off your list. Three other people checked in and walked.

(BAD) The movie hostel was probably shot here...
It was horrible!!!! It's right next to a homeless feeding center. There was trash everywhere, and the area was terrible. The hotel has monthly rates, si that gives you an idea of the appearance. The room was horrendous, had broken furniture, and smelled like dew. There were roaches in our room (I counted 3, alive). The sheets looked clean, but I slept with my clothes on. Nightmare experience, definitely not worth $70. The pictures were deceiving for sure. It is right downtown, that why I picked it, plus the pictures looked like it was truly a clean and modest hotel. Never again. Completely disappointed. The Bates motel is the Ritz Carlton compared to this dirt hole.

Awful...really really awful
This is such an awful place. I'm one of those that usually books cheap hotels; just someplace to sleep. But this one is so bad. We showed up after 9 hours of driving at 8:30 at night and the office was already closed. A guard told us to wait in front of room 115 and he would check us in shortly. There was already a group of people waiting to be checked in at this room 115. After 10 minutes of waiting, I walked back to the office and the guard was still sitting there. I asked if this was going to happen tonight or not and he again said he be down in a few minutes. Twenty minutes later he finally showed. We finally checked in and was told that EVERY time you come back on the property, regardless of time, you have to stop and check in with him which is why there was such a large group waiting. This is because of the homeless shelter across the street. Homeless people were lining the street outside and there was trash all over the ground. The lights in the room flickered constantly and made that annoying buzzing noise and there were roaches several places in the room. The Wi-Fi is non existent, just says connecting, but never actually does. The walls are so thin, we could hear everything the neighbor was saying and every time the person above us walked and the area never seemed to settle down. There was always people outside making noise and doors constantly opening and closing and people walking by our door. I was startled awake a few times by loud noises. It was just awful.
