If you’re looking to party with a bunch of loud out of control drunks, this hotel is for you. CONS: walls are extremely thin and god forbid you get an adjoining room. Sounds like the people next door are in your room with you. Bed is too hard and pillows too small. There was barely a beach and no where to social distance and lay out. All the loungers and good spots were taken. Elevators are slow and there’s 4 of them. Pool is disgusting!!! Never got in. Looks like they don’t clean it. Lastly, do not sit at the other pool area on the side of the hotel, especially at night. Some crazy drunk threw 2 balcony chairs, beer bottles and a phone from the 15th floor and almost killed someone. The idiots were arrested and luckily the people were unscathed, but mind you, this could’ve been a HUGE lawsuit if someone was killed. Security could improve...didn’t really feel all that safe. PROS: food was pretty good and had a nice view of the ocean from the 14th floor. Staff is nice and attentive. That was about it. There are other nice resorts, reasonably priced nearby, that are better choices. Stay here at your own risk.
As an all-inclusive hotel, it was a little below our expectations. Hotel food was the same every night at the buffet. Restaurants options weren’t much, specially realizing that two of the restaurants share the same buffet. One of the waiter at the steakhouse was rude, when we ask him to explain the menu. Also, pools are not heated. But mostly, I rate this hotel 3/5 stars because it lacks a lot of entertainment. First all-inclusive hotel that makes me go to bed early because I’m bored of not having anything else to do at the hotel instead of sending me to bed for being tired of all the activity during the day. If you are going with kids, there’s not much to do besides taking them to the pool.

The rooms were subpar and average on cleanliness. The service of the staff was below par and I would give it the three star rating
Overall service was not good. Rooms Are old and housekeeping did not service the room to our satisfaction. Food at the buffet was not good.
We had a good time. The location was excellent. The service was pretty on point and we enjoyed ourselves. We would definitely be back.
Great service, great food especially diner buffet. Can't get over see food choices and ceviches omg.. All inclusive its real all inclusive. All restaurants all bars all drinks you can think of. But Riu please fix your elavators. Lucky we had a room on a 5th floor. A most of time we were taking a stairs. Your elevators sucks. Wait time is like forever. It apply to both towers. Our friends stay in the other. Lucky them they were on 3rd floor. Beside we both paid for same room type and their was in other tower much bigger and nicer. But who stays in the room. Again service, food and drinks first class. Just fix those elevators.
Amazing place to stay 100% recommend.
I definitely will be back !!
