Good
Older hotel, but We're happy with our stay. A few minutes walk from train station. Room was smaller side, but clean.

Nagoya in winter
Very convenient neighborhood. The heat was a bit too hot. I had to open all the windows so I don't feel too dry. The location of the TV was a bit strange. Other than that, happy with my stay.

Good location, small room
Convenient to Nagoya train station-only a few blocks away. Front desk spoke some english. Rooms are small and bathroom is tiny. The beds are rock hard and only one flat pillow is provided for each bed. You only get one key to the room (a real key) and they ask that you turn it in to the front desk if you go out for the day, and pick it back up when you come in. Windows are openable, which helped with temperature and the stuffy room feeling. There is a 24 hour casual restaurant attached to the hotel serving simple Japanese food. Several convenience stores in the area, and hotel provided most amenities free.

close to train station
The primary advantage of this hotel is its proximity to the train station. The neighborhood around the hotel was rather dingy, but the five minute walk was worth it for a quick in and out visit to Nagoya. The double room was teeny tiny and moldy smelling but clean. There was some confusion about our reservation and they didn't have our rooms, but since there was availability they were able to accommodate us. Still, I was glad I had printed out my hotels.com confirmation. The breakfast was incredible - lots of options and filled us for the whole day.

Not so nice
Great location close to station but room was very dingy, with dirty carpets. No wireless and wired internet kept cutting out and only worked a third of the time. Hotels.com allowed us to book a room for 3, but there was no cot or couch for the 3 rd person.
