    Wider than usual twin beeds
Good Hotel a bit away (15mins by foot) from the action. Very nice staff and the plus was the twin room with wider beeds than usual in Iceland.

    Fair 4.0
    Outdated room
Outdated room and amenities; wifi was at 1-2 bars out of 3 and kept dropping out. Bathroom ceiling, lampshades, carpet were stained. Bathroom smelled due to moldy curtain. Shower head was stuck at waist-high. To be fair, they changed those out the next day after we complained, but the lack of effort to make amends to the unhappy guest shows poor service. Worst hotel in our experience out of staying at multiple hotels around Iceland.

    Good location
About one mile from the city center, so good location. Was very hot in room and could not get air conditioner working

Overall my wife and I enjoyed our stay of about a week. The reception staff were very responsive and helpful. The location is in a sort of No-Man's land. Far from downtown attractions and bus stops. Reception staff were as helpful as they could be in providing instructions on how to get to main sites but the bus system was difficult to navigate.
