About Hôtel Sainte-Anne, Quebec

Very few locations in Quebec City can offer the location and surroundings of the Hotel Ste-Anne. Situated in the heart of "Old Quebec upper town," in the shadow of famous Château Frontenac and inside the fortifications of the old city, it is ideally situated to give you a taste of the irresistible "old France" charm of Quebec City. In the hotel's immediate surroundings, guests will find a vast number of bars, restaurants, shops of all kinds, the famous "Rue du Trésor" street and its artists; the City Hall, the Wax Museum, the French America Museum, the Civilization Museum and the famous Dufferin Terrace of the Château Frontenac. The Quebec Parliament Buildings, the Convention Centre, the Cruise Terminal and the Louise Basin, which is the starting point for the excursions on majestic St-Lawrence River, are close by and accessible on foot.

Hotel Features.
The Hotel Sainte-Anne comprises 2 antique houses, which were combined and fully restored to maintain its charm yet offer every modern convenience. The location of the hotel and its terrace restaurant on the pedestrian-only section of Ste-Anne Street makes this hotel an ideal choice to discover this unique city in North America. A municipal parking lot (surcharge) is a half-block away.

The hotel features 28 rooms with every modern convenience including private bathroom and showers (some of them with bathtubs). Given its unique status of a historical building "inside the walls" of Old Quebec, all the rooms are tastefully decorated in keeping with the location. Several accommodations are attic rooms and 17 of them have stone or brick walls, which provide a unique decor and charm. For flexible capacity, connecting rooms, extra beds, and complimentary baby cots are available.

Hôtel Sainte-Anne, Quebec
Great location but not so comfortable.
They put glass doors/wall that make the area smaller and crowded. The improvements is not for the best, no lobby and no place to sit for business meeting. Breakfast do not start befor 8am on weekend so not good for business trips. The mattress is stiff andlow quality. We rented 4 superiors rooms and some was very small and the heating system was cold or hot, same with the showers.

Very Good8.0
Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. From our room, we could not tell what the weather was like because the only window opened onto a small, glass-covered atrium–essentially a very attractive air-shaft. The location is excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful, recommending a restaurant and making a reservation for us soon after we arrived and phoning for a taxi when we checked out. The reception area and restaurant are currently being renovated, but that was only a minor inconvenience, and, in fact, is a sign of the care management takes in keeping the hotel a place worth staying.

Hôtel Sainte-Anne, Quebec
Nice hotel nestled between Holy Trinity and Notre Dame Cathedrals. It was undergoing renovations during our stay, but the staff made sure it didn't interfere with daily operations as much as possible. Absolutely wonderful and helpful staff. I would definitely make a return stay if my travels pull me back to Quebec.

Best location in Old Town Quebec City!
Location was the best!! Our room was great, but since it is an old building all rooms are different. The bathroom was updated, but they made some bad design choices. The toilet is right as you enter the bathroom, the know to turn on the shower is on the back wall and you can't put the water glass under the faucet to fill it up. Great breakfast included with many cooked to order options. RC on the elevator stands for rez-de-chaussée, which is the ground floor.
