Useful but not exciting
Ideally located, right next to cathedral square, from where the shuttle to the gondola leaves, a fifteen minute walk to the museum and Botanical Gardens, etc. As a serviced apartment, it is impersonal, though the staff is helpful when asked.

Very comfortable and centrally located
This was an extremely convenient location in central city with a wonderfully comfortable bed and spacious room. The “kitchen” facilities were adequate for a light breakfast but would benefit from a small sink. I would definitely stay at Quest again! Parking (for a fee) is also an asset! (It can be a challenge to get to the hotel initially given construction and one way streets but it is do-able!)

Well worth the visit to Christchurch
The only drawback was finding the hotel, which required violating a "no right turn" sign. Otherwise, it was in a perfect location in the CBD. Parking under the hotel was a breeze and it was easy to walk everywhere in the central area. In a way, Christchurch was heartbreaking, because while progress is being made toward rebuilding, such progress would have been impressive had it been only three years since the major earthquake and not the seven it actually has been. Definitely worth the time to visit. Also worth the time to drive to Akaroa on the Banks Peninsula.
