Quiet, yet So convenient
Loved our stay. it was a few blocks away from San Juan, which we enjoyed, as we could appreciate the old city but then return to our quiet studio. Loved the terrace, see poc, and the rooftop terrace!! The service was amazing! They have a gold cart to shuttle you into town. The hotel room, aka studio, has everything we needed from utensils, pots, stovetop, table for four and all the towels we needed. I cant say enough nice things about the staff and our room. The one horrible review must have had a bad day. lol. yes, you can see buildings with graffiti, but this beautiful island has worked so hard from reviving itself after 2 hurricanes - one, the deadliest of the century.. They are amazing and resilient. Loved our stay!!

Poor quality hotel with nice staff
Friendly and helpful staff and somewhat updated rooms but hotel NOT worth the $300/night we paid. And it does not come anywhere close to the 9.2/10 rating that caused me to select this property. Specifically, 1. Rooms were of very poor quality: Floor tiles were loose/came off so you had to walk carefully to avoid injury, window blinds did not exist in 1 room and were broken in the other, bed was uncomfortable/poor quality and amenities like tea/coffee were low end 2. Hotel room had terrible views of massive construction site & graffiti -- see pictures.

This hotel has a beautiful exterior, as well as fresh modern updates throughout the establishment. When we checked into our room though, the presidential penthouse, we were thoroughly surprised to see that there was no oven in the kitchen. The jacuzzi tub on the patio was broken and I’m convinced it wasn’t properly installed because of the amount of water built up even though it hadn’t rained. We stayed at this hotel for a week, we’re given two bottles of water, and 1 roll of toilet paper. I had to get all of my own towels and linens. Also cockroaches found. There was no phone in the room to call the front desk for anything, when you call they don’t answer, and half the time they aren’t at the front desk. The worst part of the experience, however, was a specific member of the staff. Hector was extremely rude, when we asked where would be a nice fun SAFE place for us to visit he suggested La Perla, where someone was beaten to death and lit on fire for taking photographs of street art just weeks prior to our arrival. And on top of that harrowing experience, Hector was talking to his co-worker when I had walked up and said ‘ella es un loca’. I’ve never had such a terrible experience, and been treated in such a way while I’m actively staying and paying for the most expensive room in your hotel. I wouldn’t recommend staying here to someone I hated. The service and interactions I had at this hotel left me feeling unsafe and eager to go home.
